Frasers Hill - Weekend with the family

27 July 2007...I decided to organize a family getaway and utilize the many resorts that the company has. So I booked 6 rooms. My plan was to drive up there, let everyone do whatever they want, find a comfy spot and conceal myself with the latest Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. Didn't expect anything interesting to happen... I thought wrong... ;-)
Anyway, I left KL about 12 30 noon with Mom & Dad. Rosman & Family left at 4 pm and Roseley & family arrived the next day at around 8pm.
My drive up was very slow and steady. The view was beautiful..Dad was cool and kept reading the road signs every chance he gets. Mom was ok at 1st but she got sick , dizzy and started to throw up with all the winding roads.

The care taker of the bungalow prepared dinner and it was good. Simple but delicious.
On Saturday, we went exploring the so called town where I met Dave, my Canadian friend...:-)

We went to the Old Smoke House and had scones for tea. The picture below is Liyana and me.
The infamous landmark in Frasers Hill...the Clock Tower.
Here's a picture of Aiman and me...you know how nephews are...looks like he is forced to smile and take a piture with his aunty

This is a picture of me infront of the bungalow at night.

This was taken at the Old Smoke House.

This is the view from my room. Breath taking....

The kids with their favourite Aunty. Liyana, Ariff, Aiman, Adrie, Imran & Afiq. (Natasha, Fareez, Aqilah & Ezatti couldn't make it due to some unexplainable reasons!)

14 years ago the family went to Frasers and we all took a family picture at the same place. Back then everyone was present. This time Roselan's family, Rozita's family and Nenek is not around... :-(

In the end, the weekend I thought would be boring turned out to be fun. I'm glad I organized it. Mom & Dad...I love you . Ley and Man you're the greatest bros a sis can have and thank you for giving me the best sis-in-law on the planet! To all the kids, please look out for me when I grow old ok! Love you all!!

Hmmm...where shall we go next? Who will back out during the last minute?! I wonder....

Another Year Wiser July 16th

Another year has passed, so many things has happened and I've gain lots of new and interesting experiences. Nothing matters more than being around people you love, makes you happy and accepts you just the way you are.
I started my day by rushing to the offic eofr a quick interview, went for lunch at Klimtz, head to Cineleisure for Harry Porter, went for a body massage and last but not least had Dinner with Ni Ni and Jeya at Delicious, Bangsar.
Lunch was not as what I expected since the last time I was at that restaurant. i enjoy Harry Porter a lot! Especially the scenes in Professor Dolores Umbridge's room. For obvious reasons, I like the plates with cats on the wall! Wish it exist in real life!
After dinner, we adjourned to Baskin Robbins for ice cream and Devi's for teh tarik. It was nice to have Ni Ni sit put and not having to rush anywhere. What an honour! Thanks! Thank Jeya for listening to all the crabs that Ni Ni and I came up with that night!
21st July, I had another celebration at 7atenin9, Ascort. I was told to be there at 10pm. Guess what? I was the only one there and the organizers were about 45 minutes late...The fact that I had a bad sore throat and hate waiting for people didn't make it a good start. But at the end of the day, back to square 1...it's great being around friends you love!

Incase you are wondering, I still don't drink but just love to leave evidence that I do...So Pooi Chee, I think you are right, I should should sending the wrong vibes!
After 7atenin9, we went to Poppy Garden! No pictures were taken in there but it was just too crowded for me and smoky so I stayed for 1/2 hour only!
Thank you everyone who got me the card and the vouchers! I will go get my fan soon! God bless all of you!!!

James and Rachel's Wedding ... 20-07-2007

Ong and Rachel...a beautiful beginning. Congratulations! It feels like only yesterday we met and had our mamak sessions at Bistari Desa Hartamas, our usual meeting spot. Who would have thought love can blossom between this two. I guess we have to thank Kevin and G for this unification (got the word from Microsoft Word..hehe).

Thanks to you two, I finally got to attend a church wedding. If I was gonna wait for my friends Alina and Shawna it's probably a few more years down the road (no offense ladies). Just curious, can a non Christian be a witness for a Christian wedding?

Hey Kevin, if you are reading this, sorry I didnt have much time when I was blogging about your wedding, besides..I couldn't sleep tonight!

The picture below was taken right after the ceremony at the Church just before I ran back to work!

These were taken after the vows were made, Rachel...you were not the only one who cried...I cried too, from the moment your dad gave you away...can't help myself..I cry at weddings! I am a sensitive person...so sue me!

The pictures above was taken at Passion Restaurant where they had their dinner reception. I must say it was a very nice and simple concept (kevin, the nasi lemak concept will not work!). Everyone was very relaxed...no swans on stage..yada..yada.. and I love the band (Ong please get me their number, ask if they'd perform at a Muslim wedding!) I also like the wedding favors. Cute! Will take a picture soon and post it here later.Kevin and I chilling and reminising about the pass, when everyone had more time to meet up, play snooker, drink teh tarik at the mamak for hours without a care in this world. Rosli said..."stop using the phrase Once Upon A Time and Back When...' We're not that old you know!!!The guys were trying to hold their breath and hide their pot belly! Hey guys, over the years only Rachel and I have maintained our figure don't you agree?Rosli, Ong, Fazlan, Kevin and I.

Kevin, Me, Rosli, Neni and kid (can't remember his name but has very nice eyes!)

Congratulations once agin to Mr and Mrs James Ong!!! May they'll be dozens of little James and Rachel running around! Good Luck!!!

Sam & Aisha - 3 July 2007

Finally the moment we've been waiting for our Cikgu Salsa to be wed is here! It was a beautiful reception. Aisha was gorgeous and Sam stunning. The colour scheme through out the nite was sweet. I love the wedding favour...(make me fat only). Ada lagi tak? Here's a picture of the bride and groom taken on our way out...it had to be a quicky coz there was a longggggg que behind us waiting to congratulate the happy couple and we were already getting dirty looks from people behind us. Everyone rushing home since its aTuesday night and almost everyone who earns a decent living has to work the next day. Featured in the pic below is also the delicious wedding favour and the wedding cake...Not to forget, their pelamin.

Most of us were busy posing all nite long, feels like a celebrity!
